DESCRIPTION
Jesse Warner is a single mom who has her hands full raising her preteen son, Little John. She works as a waitress, but dreams of becoming a nurse - that is, if her old-school dad and troublesome brothers let her. She realizes her dreams and becomes a nurse in the show's second season. When Jesse's ex-husband comes to town with the intention of winning her back, her love interest, a Chilean named Diego, gains a rival in his quest to win her affections. Christina Applegate stars in her first regular TV work since the cancellation of ``Married ... With Children.''
