``Leader of the Pack'' follows a family's search for the perfect pet dog. The series begins with eight competing canines, and through a series of challenges the family must decide -- with the help of animal experts -- whether a certain dog is right for their home and lifestyle. Although every dog seen here eventually finds a home through adoption, only one gets to lead the pack with this family.
