SHOW DESCRIPTION

Dwight Hendricks is a quirky police detective in Memphis, Tenn., who enjoys an intimate connection to the city, a deep passion for its blues music scene and a loving relationship with his mother. While his instincts as a detective are never questioned by his demanding new boss, Lt. Tanya Rice, she is bothered by the relaxed manner with which he carries out his duties. It's Dwight's Memphis state of mind, and perhaps once Lt. Rice sees him perform a song or two at his favorite hangout, she'll begin to see things his way, too.
