DESCRIPTION
Qualified to teach gym class, Gerry Duncan is instead hired in the social studies department of the prestigious Xavier Academy, a private school for kids in grades 5-12. Gerry struggles to stay ahead of his students as he fakes his way through each class, having decided that he knows enough to get by, and he can just improvise everything else. A comedic take on the profession, ``Mr. D'' shows teaching from a teacher's perspective and reveals the truth: teachers just don't know everything. The series is based on Gerry Dee's life as a high-school teacher before he became a stand-up comic.
