DESCRIPTION
Naturalist Nick Baker takes viewers to some of the most-remote, most-inhospitable corners of Earth on a colorful and fact-packed journey to seek out the strangest animals on the planet. From the rain forests of Borneo to the Australian Outback, from the far-flung islands off Panama to the mayhem of Mexico City, Baker uses his passion for the natural world and receives help from leading scientists at the American Museum of Natural History and local experts to track such creatures as the marsupial mole, the pygmy sloth, the slow loris and the axolotl salamander.
