``Project Runway'' returns for a ninth season with the most designers in show history. In the season's first episode, 20 designers go before host Heidi Klum, mentor Tim Gunn and judges Michael Kors and Nina Garcia to make a case as to why they deserve one of the 16 spots in this season's competition. Once chosen, the 16 finalists face their first challenge, one of the toughest ever on the show. This season features top-name guest designers and judges from the fashion and entertainment worlds, including Kim Kardashian, Christina Ricci and Zoe Saldana.
