DESCRIPTION
Montreal's Groupe Fiatlux-Ampleman, or GFA, is one of Canada's most popular pyrotechnics groups. ``Pyros'' follows GFA's leader, Maude Furtado, and her team as they crisscross the globe to put on complex, unusual and often extraordinary displays at world-class events and competitions. In this business of working with unpredictable and explosive components, mishaps are not only costly for the company, but also potentially life-threatening to the crew. During their travels, members of GFA face uncooperative weather, public humiliation and the ever-present threat of injury in order to be the best in the business.
