DESCRIPTION
A recipe could be worth $250,000 to one home cook in this competition series that has 21 home cooks competing for the grand prize. Each episode, three of the cooks put their recipes to the test in one of seven categories -- cakes, appetizers and frozen treats among them -- with the winner of each category, as determined by the judges' panel based on taste and the recipe's marketing potential, earning $25,000. After those seven competitions are complete and the winners chosen, viewers vote online for the best of the best -- their favorite of the 21 contestants. The home cook who wins the viewers' vote takes home the $250,000 top prize. Former professional football player Jesse Palmer hosts.
