After attending to celebrity patients over five seasons of ``Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew,'' addiction specialist Dr. Drew Pinsky opens the doors of Southern California's Pasadena Recovery Center to everyday Americans struggling with addiction. The franchise's sixth season features eight patients with hardcore addictions ranging from heroin to prescription pills to alcohol. The series once again takes viewers behind the closed doors of the rehabilitation process, a raw and unflinching look at the emotional journey Dr. Drew and the patients travel on a hopeful road to sobriety. Returning to assist Dr. Drew are counselor Bob Forrest and resident technician Shelly Sprague, as well as Dr. John R. Sharp, whose specialty includes the treatment of depression and bipolar disorder.
