Filmmaker and fisherman Ken Baldwin combines his two passions to produce ``Season on the Edge,'' which documents extreme fishing excursions, including the search for redfish in New Orleans, snook in the Everglades, peacock bass in the Amazon, rainbow trout in Alaska, striped bass in Montauk, N.Y., and largemouth bass in Mexico. Off the water, Baldwin incorporates local characters, food, music and wildlife into the series, giving viewers an adventurous tour of each region -- not just its great fishing -- and the culture therein. Baldwin spends part of each year as a fishing guide for the Rainbow Bay Resort in Bristol Bay, Alaska, and in the offseason, he works in the film industry as an editor, director, writer and videographer.
