DESCRIPTION
Susan Keane is a beautiful magazine writer whose weekly column, ``Suddenly Susan,'' reflects her struggles as a single woman in San Francisco after abruptly leaving her fiance at the altar. Her boss (and nearly brother-in-law), Jack Richmond, tries to be professional as he battles the attraction between them. Susan's other co-workers include photographer Luis, restaurant critic Vicki and, in later seasons, investigative reporter Maddy (Susan's old enemy). Susan's grandmother and confidant, Nana, is a pillar of encouragement for her in her otherwise hectic life.
