He's the "Commissioner of Tailgating," and he takes the self-proclamation seriously. Since 1996, former cooking school owner Joe Cahn has traveled in a motor home to NASCAR tracks, every NFL stadium and hundreds of colleges seeking to meet the country's best tailgaters. So he knows what to look for in "Tailgate Takedown," in which Cahn visits a different college stadium each episode to pit three teams of local tailgaters against one another in a cooking competition. Celebrity judges pick the winner, who receives a cash prize, on the basis of their foods' taste, presentation and how functional the dishes are at a tailgate party. The show also features a tour of the teams' decked-out trailers and a look at the technology that helps these serious partyers create one-of-a-kind tailgate spreads.
