For the 54th year, the Recording Academy honors musical acts for their achievements in the industry. The ceremony, broadcast from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, features performances by many of the industry's top performers. Scheduled performers include Jason Aldean, Kelly Clarkson, Foo Fighters, Bruno Mars, Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift. Artists nominated for this year's Album of the Year, considered the most-prestigious award at the ceremony, are Adele, Foo Fighters, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars and Rihanna. Kanye West leads all artists with seven nominations overall, including Best Rap Album.
