Eleven pairs of adventurers hit the road in a global race for cash and bragging rights as the popular (and multiple Emmy-winning) competitive reality series begins its 12th season. Any team spared by a non-elimination Pit Stop faces a new hurdle in the next leg of the race: a Speed Bump, which is a special task that team must complete while the other teams are allowed to continue racing.
