DESCRIPTION
Romania and Siberia are on the itinerary for the first time as this hit series -- which recently won its sixth consecutive Emmy Award as outstanding reality competition program -- returns for another season, in which 11 teams traverse one of the most grueling courses ever, a route that takes them from bone-chilling cold into suffocating heat as they tackle challenges that include the world's second tallest bungee jump. This season's teams include the Race's first deaf contestant and his mother, as well as producer/writer/actor Mike White (''Chuck & Buck,'' ''The School of Rock'') and his gay activist father, Mel White.
