DESCRIPTION
Sixteen new contestants try to turn their lives around and lose excess weight, including the show's heaviest participant to date, a young social worker from California who weighs in at 476 lbs. The roster includes a fan favorite from the show's seventh season, Daniel Wright, who went from 454 to 312 lbs and hopes to lose more. Also playing is the player viewers selected during the finale of season seven. Jillian Michaels and Bob Harper return to motivate the teams, and Alison Sweeney returns as host.
