DESCRIPTION
Many people take food for granted, but the international food system is not as stable as it appears. This two-part series travels to the United States, Latin America, India, Africa and Europe to discover how food goes from farm to table, and asks what needs to happen to avert a major global food crisis. Growing populations, rising consumption of hard-to-produce foods and unpredictable climates could push food prices dangerously high.
