SHOW
DESCRIPTION
Amateur chefs are put through a series of challenges to determine who is best qualified to become the next on-camera Food Network personality (or star, as the title suggests). Along the way, the eight finalists in season two are mentored and evaluated by current Food Network stars. The judging panel -- consisting of Food Network executives Bob Tuschman and Susie Fogelson -- eliminate contestants each week, but viewers vote on the ultimate winner, who earns his or her own show on Food Network. Marc Summers returns as host.
