The sixth season of this popular food fight features 12 chefs competing for a chance to host their own series on the Food Network. New this season is Giada De Laurentiis in the role of mentor, guiding the contestants through their weekly challenges. Returning as judges are Iron Chef Bobby Flay and Food Network executives Bob Tuschman and Susie Fogelson, who choose the chef to be eliminated each week through the finale.
