``The Next Iron Chef'' returns for a fourth season, and many of this season's 10 contestants, ``super chefs'' according to the season's title, are recognizable to viewers of Food Network and Cooking Channel. The list includes former ``Iron Chef America'' sous chef Anne Burrell, ``Chuck's Day Off'' host Chuck Hughes, ``Restaurant Impossible'' host Robert Irvine and frequent ``Chopped'' judge Geoffrey Zakarian. A new twist this season is the addition of the Secret Ingredient Showdown, which pits the bottom two chefs each week against each other in a sudden-death cook-off with just one ingredient. The chef that loses that battle is eliminated. This season, the judging panel includes Iron Chef Michael Symon, food journalist Simon Majumdar and U.K. Iron Chef Judy Joo. As usual, the winning chef joins the ranks of the other Iron Chefs on future episodes of ``Iron Chef America.''
