DESCRIPTION
As with the first two seasons of this reality competition, season three of ``The Next Star'' features the top performers culled from open call auditions, from which six finalists are picked in the quest to find Canada's next young singing sensation age 15 or under. Once selected, those finalists must then complete a series of assignments including vocal challenges, mastering a media interview, creating a signature look, and, new this year, creating a music video for their new single. Ultimately, one contestant is identified as having what it takes to become a star and takes home the grand prize.
