DESCRIPTION
Nick Lachey returns to host the third season of this a capella singing competition. The number of groups grows to 16 this season with groups being eliminated each week until only one remains. That group wins the $200,000 cash prize and a recording contract with Sony Music. Ben Folds and Boyz II Men's Shawn Stockman return to the judging panel, joined by new judge Sara Bareilles. Competitors this season include a first-time group from Nashville, Tenn., that was formed by a season-two contestant, Dartmouth College's oldest a capella group, and an all-female group that includes members from the first two seasons of ``The Sing-Off.''
