SHOW
DESCRIPTION
``The Ultimate Fighter'' returns for its 16th season, the second on FX, with welterweights taking center stage this time around. Top UFC heavyweights Shane Carwin and Roy ``Big Country'' Nelson, who was the winner of the show's 10th season, coach their respective teams of young mixed martial artists fighting their way through the competition to join the ranks of previous winners such as Forrest Griffin, Rashad Evans, Michael Bisping, Matt Serra and Nelson. To the victor, of course, goes the spoils, and on ``The Ultimate Fighter,'' it's the ultimate prize for an MMA fighter -- a UFC contract and the six-figure payday that comes with it. Jon Anik hosts.
