DESCRIPTION
Carson Daly acts as host of this nationwide search for new vocal talent. The competition is broken into three stages, starting with the blind auditions. Four celebrity coaches, including Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine, hear hopefuls perform and choose whom to mentor, sight unseen. After the teams are formed, the battle round begins and the contestants compete in one-on-one face-offs to see who will advance. The strongest members of each team proceed to the live stage shows and the chance to win a recording contract and $100,000.
