DESCRIPTION
A Big Apple is on the menu as the hit cooking competition series serves up its fifth course in New York, with food critic and author Toby Young joining Tom Colicchio, Padma Lakshmi and Gail Simmons at the judges' table. Other food and entertainment figures taking part include Martha Stewart, Eric Ripert, Rocco DiSpirito, Wylie Dufresne, Natasha Richardson and the Foo Fighters. At stake for the 17 new ''cheftestants'': $100,000 in seed money to help open a restaurant, a feature in Food & Wine magazine and a showcase at the Annual Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, Colo., along with the title of Top Chef.
