SHOW
DESCRIPTION
Sixteen new chefs are put to the test in the second installment of ``Top Chef Canada,'' hosted by Lisa Ray. The contestants face two challenges per episode, which are designed to test their culinary knowledge and put their cooking skills to the test with a variety of techniques and ingredients. Each week, a chef is sent home based on his or her performance. The winner of the show is awarded a $100,000 cash prize, a GE kitchen worth $30,000, and the title of Top Chef. Throughout the season, guest judges, including well-known chefs and actors, join Mark McEwan and Shereen Arazm, who return as permanent judges from season one.
