History's sharpshootin' competition series returns for a third season as 16 contestants compete in a new arsenal of history-inspired challenges with the ultimate goal of winning the $100,000 prize package and earning the title of Top Shot. This season's contestants include two homeland security agents (who are good friends), a former Navy SEAL, a nurse and several firearms instructors. Also included in the group are a couple of self-taught shooters, a restaurant owner and (interestingly) a Christian camp director. The shooters must display mastery of weapons from all eras of human history, from the primitive to sophisticated tactical firearms. They must also endure extreme physical tests to stay in the game and keep their hopes of winning the competition alive. Former ``Survivor'' contestant Colby Donaldson returns as host.
