DESCRIPTION
Midway Truck Stop is much more than simply a place to get a cup of coffee and a bite to eat. It's a playground for truckers and tourists, a stop halfway between St. Louis and Kansas City on I-70 that is home to 12 separate businesses, including a fireworks store, a tattoo parlor and an antiques mall. In this docu-series, viewers get to know the truck stop's general manager, Joe Bechtold, as well as a cast of colorful locals -- from a grandma who gets a new tattoo each year as a birthday present, to a billboard salesman who talks like Donald Trump -- who have to be seen to be believed. After its first season, the program was retitled from ``Truck Stop Missouri'' to ``Truck Stop USA.''
