The race is on to find the world's toughest trucker. This competition series brings together eight professional drivers of varying experience to take part in a series of real-life trucking challenges from around the world. Representing the U.S., Canada, England, Scotland, Australia and Sri Lanka, the truckers are expected to master the most formidable rigs, show off skills such as loading timber with grapple cranes and conquer the toughest terrains and the harshest climates. Along the way, the slowest and most penalized truckers are eliminated, and the winner drives away with the $150,000 prize. Viewers will see, according to the program's producers, ``incredible, determined and highly-skilled characters in the world's most amazing backdrops battling for professional, personal and national pride.''
