We Want to Ride the Cannon Launch on '101 Ways to Leave a Game Show' (VIDEO)

'101 Ways to Leave a Game Show'The more of these '101 Ways to Leave a Game Show' (Tue., 9PM ET on ABC) we get to see, the more we want to know where we can line up to get tickets for some of these rides. Our favorite this week was the cannon shot into the ocean.

With the harnesses attached, you know all these elimination methods have been thoroughly tested for the safety of these contestants. That tells us that these stunts are ready for the '101 Ways to Leave a Game Show' theme park.

We think the guy who had the wrong answer was actually more excited than scared about getting shot from the cannon. It was a beautiful arc as he soared through the air. Do you think some people intentionally choose the wrong answer to enjoy the ride?

The Best and Worst of This Week's '101 Ways to Leave a Game Show' (VIDEO)

'101 Ways to Leave a Game Show'Let's face it, nobody's watching '101 Ways to Leave a Game Show' (Tue., 9PM ET on ABC) for the riveting questions. It's all about the outlandish ways in which the contestants are eliminated. We find ourselves now trying to imagine which would be the most terrifying way to go, and the most fun.

This week, we had some good ones to choose from, but decided ultimately that being propped upright on top of a car smashing through containers sounds pretty terrifying. If you could keep your lunch down, you'd probably be convinced you're going to wind up with a concussion.

The guy who got launched off a building after getting hit in the face with his microphone was a little too cheesy to be scary, and it was otherwise just a bungee jump. The one that looked the most fun was the red carpet ride down the street, being dragged by a limousine. That's going out with class!

Katherine Takes a High-Flying Ride on '101 Ways to Leave a Game Show' (VIDEO)

'101 Ways to Leave a Game Show'More and more, the eliminations on '101 Ways to Leave a Game Show' (Tue., 9PM ET on ABC) are looking like awesome rides for adrenaline junkies. We could see people lining up for Katherine's fiery exit.

After she wound up with the wrong answer on a question about movies featuring Tom Cruise wearing sunglasses -- surprisingly "All of them!" is not the right answer -- she found herself in the back of a pick-up truck barreling toward the edge of a cliff.

As the truck went over the edge, she got to watch from the air. She'd been secured to a helicopter flying above by a rope. This gave her a spectacular view of the truck crumpling, rolling and ultimately exploding. Sounds awesome, right?

'Love in the Wild': 2x the Reality, 2x the Fun

by Stephanie Earp, posted Jul 4th 2011 2:30PM
I've never really followed an entire season of reality dating show, except for Meredith's turn on 'The Bachelorette', mainly because I was pretty sure she was doing it as a joke.

So color me surprised to find I actually enjoyed the debut of 'Love in the Wild' last week and have mentally penciled episode two into my calendar this Wednesday (9PM ET/PT, CTV/NBC). The show definitely hearkens back to the era of 'Paradise Hotel' or 'Temptation Island' but manages to feel like a fresher take on the pretty-people-in-a-hot-tub genre. Basically, it's a blatant attempt to mix 'Survivor' with 'The Bachelor'. The result includes some of the best and worst elements of both of those shows.

Truck Norris Smashes Into a Contestant on '101 Ways to Leave a Game Show' (VIDEO)

Truck Norris, '101 Ways to Leave a Game Show'There's another angle to consider with '101 Ways to Leave a Game Show' (Tue., 9PM ET on ABC). Not only is there the terror fun of getting eliminated in such outlandish ways, but because the contestants know how they'll be eliminated if they're wrong, there's that extra stress looming over your shoulder hindering clear thought.

One round saw them face off against Truck Norris, an enormous monster truck. You could see the contestants each second-guessing their answers and hoping they got it right as they sat there strapped into their cars, knowing the one who was wrong was about to have a monster truck drive right over them.

Leaving in a Fiery Car Crash on '101 Ways to Leave a Game Show' (VIDEO)

'101 Ways to Leave a Game Show'If you love quiz shows but hate all those boring questions getting in the way, '101 Ways to Leave a Game Show' (Tue., 9PM ET on ABC) might just be the cure for your summer snooze. With its emphasis on flashy exits for contestants, there's hardly enough time to get through any questions.

That doesn't make the exits any more exciting or crazy to watch. This premiere episode was packed with dangerous stunts that make us think you have to go through a grueling physical to even be allowed to compete.

Our favorite was the car flip exit, where the contestant who had the wrong answer was flipped and wrecked in a car that burst into flames. Absolutely do not try this at home.

Doing the Math on TV: Our Handy Equations for Summer's New Shows

by AOL TV Staff, posted Jun 20th 2011 2:00PM
There are a lot of new shows on this summer and, let's face it, they're not all winners. But how do you know? You see a billboard, see a preview, read what TV people like us tell you to watch, but sometimes you need something more concrete.

Enter our handy-dandy mathematical equations for this week's new summer shows!

Expedition Impossible

OK, you're probably thinking that math and TV don't mix, but you're sorely mistaken. One show you love (+) another show you love (+) actors you adore = awesome. A show you kind of like (-) the parts you like = pass. Simple as that.

Here, we've done the math on five new shows premiering this week -- 'Combat Hospital,' 'Commercial Kings,' 'Expedition Impossible,' 'Suits' and '101 Ways to Leave a Game Show' -- so put away your calculator and set your DVRs ... or not.
