'Dancing With the Stars' Season 11, Episode 13 Recap

Team Apolo Busts-a-move['Dancing with the Stars' - 200th Episode Special]

The theme of the 'Dancing With the Stars' 200th episode was really "Reuse Music Night." There was no way the contestants could recreate magic that two past contestants had, so they needed to be as original as possible. The team cha-cha challenge had former winners as coaches this week, but they didn't help much. (Though they did make for an excellent former contestant drinking game, since the cameras kept cutting to Chuck Lidell and Jerry Rice.)

It seems like a given that as long as you have Derek Hough in your group dance, you automatically win. Even with Kurt (or in previous seasons, weaker contestants like Pamela Anderson, Kelly Osbourne, Ty Murray and Warren Sapp) the dance brought the weaker contestants' game up. I'd love to see Derek take a break next season and see how the teams would do without his choreography.

Pro Opening Dance - It looked like they recycled the Team GaGa cha-cha outfits from last season. It was nice seeing Ashly and Damian back, though it would have been interesting to see Edyta and Alec back for a short moment. The group work in the circle at the end was great, and I really wished they would open every season with a full pro group dance.

Here's a Preview of 'South Park's' 200th Episode

by Brad Trechak, posted Apr 11th 2010 1:27PM
This coming Wednesday brings us the 200th episode of 'South Park.' When the show reached 100 episodes, there wasn't really a big celebration other than a mention at the end. This time it looks like co-creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are celebrating their own longevity by returning every celebrity their show has ever insulted for a class action lawsuit against the town.

A special website has been set up in promotion of the event in which fans can upload their own videos. Trey and Matt have even been interviewed for this milestone by The New York Times.

Two hundred episodes is a long time for a series to last with its original creators still running the show, particularly when the show only produces 14 episodes per year. Comedy Central has released a video preview of the 200th episode. Which 'South Park' moment has been your favorite?

Robin Williams to guest on SVU

by Allison Waldman, posted Mar 18th 2008 8:43PM
Robin WilliamsIt feels like a sweeps moment -- a big name star guesting on a long-running show. But it's not set for sweeps. It is, however, a special occasion and a reason to do something festive. So, on April 29, Robin Williams will make a guest appearance on Law & Order: SVU in part to celebrate the 200th episode of the intense NBC crime drama.

The Oscar-winning actor (for Good Will Hunting) is no stranger to television, as we all know. Till the day he dies, he'll be Mork. Na-noo, na-noo. As an alien from the planet Ork, Robin Williams was catapulted from obscure comic actor to overnight sensation thanks to the Garry Marshall sitcom Mork & Mindy. It was the beginning of a stellar career.

by Will O'Brien, posted Aug 2nd 2006 11:08AM

If you were watching Eureka, then you caught the preview for Stargate SG-1's 200th episode. Hitting ten seasons and 200 episodes is a pretty serious record, especially for science fiction. Anyhow, if you missed it, I grabbed some screen shots and I'll walk you through the preview and discuss it a bit.

Richard Dean Anderson returning to Stargate

by Bob Sassone, posted Mar 29th 2006 2:02PM
Richard Dean AndersonStargate SG-1, to be exact. He's about to start filming the 200th episode of the series, titled, appropriately enough, "200." It's about the team being consultants on a TV show about a stargate (hmmmm...). Anderson will also make several more appearances in the next couple of seasons, on both SG-1 and Atlantis.

Wow, 200 episodes? Who would have thought when this show premiered that it would become the longest-running sci-fi series in American television history?
