Matthew Morrison, Julianna Margulies and More Named 2010 Emmy Presenters

Jimmy Fallon EmmysSeems that funny man Jimmy Fallon, himself a nominee, will be in good company when he hosts the 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards at the end of the month.

The first six presenters for the live broadcast were announced today by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and, as luck would have it, there's not a schlub among them -- there are even four 2010 nominees on the roster.

Witness: There's Ricky Gervais, a three-time Emmy winner (once for acting in 'Extras,' twice for producing 'The Office'). There's January Jones, a first time nominee for her portrayal of Betty Draper on 'Mad Men,' and Julianna Margulies, whose performance as Nurse Hathaway on 'ER' snagged her a trophy back in 1995, and who's nominated this year for Lead Actress for 'The Good Wife.'

Who Should Host the Emmys?

Jimmy_Fallon_Late_night_NBCThe Primetime Emmys are still months away – the night of Sunday, August 29, to be exact – but the talk in Hollywood has already started swirling about who's going to host the show. An announcement is expected next week and since NBC is doing the broadcast, 'Late Night' host Jimmy Fallon is being mentioned prominently.

According to Entertainment Weekly, NBC has urged the TV Academy board to give Jimmy Fallon the thumbs up. Fallon's presence, the network contends, would appeal to a younger demographic. Terms like Twitter and Facebook have been thrown around to prop up the argument.
