TV Ratings: Daytime Emmys Rise; 'Futurama' Sees Healthy Return
by Andrew Scott, posted Jun 28th 2010 2:00PM
Good news for Daytime TV fans: According to the Live Feed, last night's Daytime Emmys ceremony was seen by a steady 5.6 million viewers, up 2.9 million viewers from last year's record-low ceremony, which aired on the CW.The spike in ratings should come as little surprise, considering it aired on network television (CBS) for the first time since 2008. Still, according to preliminary numbers, the ceremony could become the rated major-network telecast in the coveted 18-49 demo.
