Lloyd Banks Talks 50 Cent on 'Chelsea Lately'Chelsea Handler won't confirm (or deny) that she is dating "Mr. Cent" (as she calls him) but was happy to bring him up when childhood friend and fellow hip-hop artist Lloyd Banks visited 'Chelsea Lately' (weeknights, 11PM ET on E!).

"You're on the record label -- what is it called -- G-Unit? Is that the right way to say it? ... And so who's in charge of that record label?" Handler asked innocently.

"Oh, of course, 50 Cent," answered Banks.
"Oh! Oh, that's funny. That's such a small world!" she hinted.

Then she asked Banks to explain what "G-Unit" stood for. As if she didn't know...

by Oliver Miller, posted Oct 13th 2010 2:45AM
Chelsea Handler Jokes About 50 Cent Dating RumorsChelsea Handler was blushing tonight. It's rare to see the sassy host look embarrassed -- usually, she's the one who's mocking other people. What could unnerve Ms. Handler? Well, a discussion of her rumored relationship with rapper 50 Cent did the trick. And it was Chelsea's own guest who turned against her.

Last week, Chelsea and 50 Cent were seen getting "hot and heavy" in a New Orleans bar. Handler has since denied that she is dating 50 Cent -- but the rest of the world basically assumes that they are getting it on. Tonight on 'Chelsea Lately' (Tue., 11PM ET on E!), guest Jo Koy couldn't take it anymore -- and confronted her with the accusations. Chelsea had some trouble denying the rumors this time around.

50 Cent Talks About Dramatic Weight Loss on 'The View' (VIDEO)

by AOL TV Staff, posted Jul 28th 2010 12:15PM
50 CentIf you saw a picture of 50 Cent a while back, you were probably stunned by the way he looked. That's if you recognized him at all, as the two pictures on the right show.

The singer/actor was on 'The View' (weekday mornings on ABC) talking about his new look. He wasn't sick or anything like that, he actually lost the weight for a new movie, and got the rapid weight loss following the same plan as Robert DeNiro did for 'Raging Bull' and Christian Bale did for 'The Machinist.'

That's a pretty dramatic weight loss. If you didn't know who it was you'd think it was two different people.

While making an appearance on 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,' host Jimmy Fallon tests out what it feels like to smell like "Power." Fallon danced into the spritz as 50 exclaimed, "Oh you're gonna get a date tonight!" Fallon quickly countered, "No, I'm married."

They say that Marv Albert is one bad mother (shut your mouth!)

by Danny Gallagher, posted Nov 20th 2009 8:01PM
I thought that Cheech and Chong and Ann Coulter's gloves-off, no holds barred showdown/friendly exchange of ideas was the weirdest match up of all time. I officially stand corrected.

Rapper 50 Cent's posse and sportcaster Marv Albert got into a little backstage tussle on the set of Jimmy Kimmel Live and no one seems to know exactly why. If only we had someone at the scene who could describe what was happened "blow by blow" and then utter some kind of high energy word or phrase when something really exciting happens.

Apparently, a security guard just announced that Marv was walking down the hall the same time that 50 Cent and his crowd and the two threw down. Whatever the cause, it's unfortunate that it happened but more unfortunate for 50 Cent. If Marv Albert can walk away from your security entourage, maybe you need to consider some corporate restructuring.

50 Cent and Marv Albert Scuffle Backstage at 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'

by Elizabeth Chan, posted Nov 20th 2009 4:07PM
50 Cent starts beef with Marv Albert 50 Cent proves that 'Before I Self Destruct' is both the title of his latest album and a self fulfilling prophecy. The LA Times is reporting that a scuffle had broken out backstage at last nights taping of 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' between his entourage and legendary sportscaster, Marv Albert.

Albert a guest also booked on yesterday's 'Jimmy Kimmel' lineup and found himself in a scuffle, after 50's entourage and handlers were unable to recognize the renowned announcer. According to the LA Times, "There was shouting ("It's Marv Albert," yelled a Kimmel show guard, a pronouncement that seemed to have no effect on the 50 Cent phalanx.) There were obscenities. A fist or two flying. A "Don't you put your hands on me" pronouncement." Albert was in town yesterday to promote both the LA Lakers hosting the Bulls today and his appearance on 'The Simpsons.'

In fairness, there might be a theory to explain the thuggery that may have occurred backstage, Marv Albert is sporting a new look!

On 'The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien,' rapper 50 Cent discussed a young blogger on YouTube who's been openly critical of his endorsements of Vitamin Water and a cosmetics line for men. "What else is he going to do?" asked the critic who calls himself 'Pruane.' "50 Cent diapers for your little gangsta?"

But instead reaching for his nine, 50 Cent sought a peaceful solution and flew the blogger and his father to NYC to meet with him. He now reports their relationship is amicable. "He came out [to NYC]," said the rapper, "and now he attacks other people for me."

Reality Show casting calls

by Paul Goebel, posted Jun 5th 2008 8:02PM
casting callsA day hasn't gone by where we haven't received some sort of tip or email asking us, the TV Squad, how to get on [insert reality show here]. Unfortunately no, Simon Cowell does not work for us, and Donald Trump isn't my BFF, so we really can't help all that much.

The folks at RealityWanted.com often send us a list of new and existing reality shows that are looking for new, er, talent, and they've given us permission to make mention of them here. We'll try to make this a regular feature as often as we get a new list.

This time we have Split Ends, Divorce Court and other new shows.

50 Cent slams Oprah's Oreo ways

by Julia Ward, posted Dec 2nd 2006 10:05AM
50 CentHow's this for a hip-hop feud? 50 Cent vs. Oprah. In the January issue of Elle magazine, 50 Cent states that Winfrey "started out with black women's views but has been catering to middle-aged white American women for so long that she's become one herself." The old Oreo accusation - white on the inside, black on the outside.

It's bad enough that 50 has dissed every rapper in the game - Ja Rule, Nas, Fat Joe, Shyne, Jadakiss, D-Block and The Game. Now, he has to go and diss one of the most important black public figures of the past twenty years. I don't see 50 using his fortune to open schools for girls in South Africa or getting America to read Toni Morrison novels. There's a great deal you can take down Oprah for, but questioning the integrity of her "blackness" is ridiculous - particularly when done by a rapper who owes much of his success to industry mentor and white boy Eminem. Seriously, 50, stick to telling us how to party like it's our birthday instead of picking fights with the big O.

Ice Cube jumps on the Oprah-bashing bandwagon

by Anna Johns, posted May 27th 2006 2:02PM
ice cubeRapper/actor Ice Cube is joining the chorus of performers who have a problem with Oprah. Cube tells FHM magazine that he thinks he wasn't invited on her show when Barbershop II came out because he is a rapper (Oprah did have Cedric the Entertainer and Eve on). He also takes it a step further by saying, "She's had damn rapists, child molesters and lying authors on her show. And if I'm not a rags-to-riches story for her, who is?" Forget East vs. West. It's Rappers vs. Oprah (and I think Oprah will prevail).

Fellow rappers Ludacris and 50 Cent have also voiced their discontent with Oprah's lack of hip-hop artists on her show. Oprah was pretty clear with Ludacris, when he was on a year ago for Crash, that she did not approve of his dirty and derogatory lyrics. However, she did defend herself on an NYC radio station after 50 Cent accused her of banning rappers from her show. She said she even has a little 50 Cent on her iPod, and she loves Mary J. Blige, Kanye West, and Jay-Z.

So. Is this just a ploy by these guys to get some face time on Oprah or what?

50 Cent picks a fight with Oprah

by Anna Johns, posted Apr 29th 2006 10:20AM
50 centI don't know if 50 Cent is just posturing to appear tough to his fans or if he has a legitimate beef with the most powerful woman in the universe. In an interview with the Associated Press, 50 Cent complained that Oprah never has rappers on her show because her viewers are older, white women. Um, yes. I think that is why. Also, because she's not a big fan of the N-word, or of songs that promote the gansta life and are disrespectful of women. Oprah brought dirty lyrics up to Ludacris when he was on the show last fall to talk about Crash and racism. Ludacris joins the anti-Oprah rant in next month's GQ Magazine, saying, "She edited out a lot of my comments while keeping her own in."

In this fight, my money's on Oprah, baby!
