50 Cent Signs 'Jersey Shore' Star Pauly D
by Catherine Lawson, posted Dec 2nd 2011 7:20AM
As Vinny Guadagnino deals with the fallout from his recent foray into the world of rap, the AP reports that his fellow 'Jersey Shore' guido, Pauly D (yes, the one with that hair) has hooked up with rapper 50 Cent. The reality star and DJ said months ago that the pair were working together, and now he has officially signed to 50 Cent's dance and pop music label, G-Note.
Calling Pauly D smart and creative, 50 Cent said he's a "great addition to G-Note and [the] G-Unit family."
50 Cent Gave Mickey Rourke a Ride to 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted Nov 9th 2011 5:00AM
Mickey Rourke was just going to take a cab to his appearance on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (Weeknights, 12AM ET on ABC), but instead he rolled up in style. In fact, he rolled up in a Rolls Royce, electric blue in color. When his cab didn't show up, and in fact no other cabs were showing up either, the Rolls pulled up and it was 50 Cent. Rourke wasn't clear if 50 showed up intending to give him a ride, or if he just happened to be in the area. Jimmy Kimmel wondered if it wasn't indicative that perhaps 50 was stalking him.
He did, after all, happen to mention that he was intending to remake one of Rourke's more obscure movies. Maybe 50 made all the cabs disappear, too, just so he could give Rourke that ride.
The 23 Best 'Simpsons' Musician Cameos
by AOL Music Staff, posted Oct 15th 2011 3:00PM
When we heard 'The Simpsons' was on the verge of cancellation, we started reminiscing about all the rockers and rappers that have appeared on the show throughout its 23-season existence. With that in mind, we decided to compile this list of our favorite musician cameos, and here's hoping to many more now that the show has been renewed.Jimmy Fallon Tests 50 Cent's "Power by 50" on 'Late Night' (VIDEO)

50 Cent has got it all.His multi-million dollar empire includes hit records, movies, Vitamin Water and -- more importantly -- street credibility.
So when it came time to pick a name for his new fragrance, he minced no words by calling it "Power by 50."
While making an appearance on 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,' host Jimmy Fallon tests out what it feels like to smell like "Power." Fallon danced into the spritz as 50 exclaimed, "Oh you're gonna get a date tonight!" Fallon quickly countered, "No, I'm married."

They say that Marv Albert is one bad mother (shut your mouth!)
by Danny Gallagher, posted Nov 20th 2009 8:01PM
I thought that Cheech and Chong and Ann Coulter's gloves-off, no holds barred showdown/friendly exchange of ideas was the weirdest match up of all time. I officially stand corrected. Rapper 50 Cent's posse and sportcaster Marv Albert got into a little backstage tussle on the set of Jimmy Kimmel Live and no one seems to know exactly why. If only we had someone at the scene who could describe what was happened "blow by blow" and then utter some kind of high energy word or phrase when something really exciting happens.
Apparently, a security guard just announced that Marv was walking down the hall the same time that 50 Cent and his crowd and the two threw down. Whatever the cause, it's unfortunate that it happened but more unfortunate for 50 Cent. If Marv Albert can walk away from your security entourage, maybe you need to consider some corporate restructuring.
50 Cent and Marv Albert Scuffle Backstage at 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'
by Elizabeth Chan, posted Nov 20th 2009 4:07PM
50 Cent proves that 'Before I Self Destruct' is both the title of his latest album and a self fulfilling prophecy. The LA Times is reporting that a scuffle had broken out backstage at last nights taping of 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' between his entourage and legendary sportscaster, Marv Albert. Albert a guest also booked on yesterday's 'Jimmy Kimmel' lineup and found himself in a scuffle, after 50's entourage and handlers were unable to recognize the renowned announcer. According to the LA Times, "There was shouting ("It's Marv Albert," yelled a Kimmel show guard, a pronouncement that seemed to have no effect on the 50 Cent phalanx.) There were obscenities. A fist or two flying. A "Don't you put your hands on me" pronouncement." Albert was in town yesterday to promote both the LA Lakers hosting the Bulls today and his appearance on 'The Simpsons.'
In fairness, there might be a theory to explain the thuggery that may have occurred backstage, Marv Albert is sporting a new look!
50 Cent Smooths Things Over With YouTube Critic on 'Tonight Show' (VIDEO)
by Donald Deane, posted Nov 18th 2009 2:40PM
On 'The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien,' rapper 50 Cent discussed a young blogger on YouTube who's been openly critical of his endorsements of Vitamin Water and a cosmetics line for men. "What else is he going to do?" asked the critic who calls himself 'Pruane.' "50 Cent diapers for your little gangsta?"But instead reaching for his nine, 50 Cent sought a peaceful solution and flew the blogger and his father to NYC to meet with him. He now reports their relationship is amicable. "He came out [to NYC]," said the rapper, "and now he attacks other people for me."

Reality Show casting calls
by Paul Goebel, posted Jun 5th 2008 8:02PM
A day hasn't gone by where we haven't received some sort of tip or email asking us, the TV Squad, how to get on [insert reality show here]. Unfortunately no, Simon Cowell does not work for us, and Donald Trump isn't my BFF, so we really can't help all that much. The folks at RealityWanted.com often send us a list of new and existing reality shows that are looking for new, er, talent, and they've given us permission to make mention of them here. We'll try to make this a regular feature as often as we get a new list.
This time we have Split Ends, Divorce Court and other new shows.
