A Team
Here's the first pic from the A Team movie

Huh. I didn't even realize they had finished casting the big-screen A Team movie let alone started to film it. But above is the first pic from the set. That's Liam Neeson as Hannibal, Bradley Cooper as Face, Quinton Jackson as B.A. Baracus, and Sharlto Copley as Murdock (here's a bigger version of the picture). The film comes out next June.

Who should play Murdock in the A-Team movie?
If you haven't heard, Liam Neeson and Bradley Cooper might be in the big screen A-Team movie. I can certainly picture Cooper in Dirk Benedict's place, and I guess Neeson could make a good Hannibal, though he wouldn't have been one of my top choices. But how about Murdock, the crazy team member played by Dwight Schultz? Who could play him?| Jack Black | |

Woody Harrelson is Howling Mad?
According to Cinematical, director John Singleton believes that the perfect actor to play the role of "Howling Mad" Murdock in his upcoming movie version of the 80's action series The A Team is none other than Woody Harrelson. As a former A Team watcher, I can see that.Harrelson does have that subtle lunatic vibe that Dwight Schultz was able to project so well before he became Lieutenant Barclay on Star Trek: The Next Generation. He's shown this in some of his movies such as Natural Born Killers.
The day I met Mr. T
As many of you know, in the year 2000 I was crowned TV Land's Ultimate Fan. It was a great experience that I will always remember. I got to visit New York in the Fall and, again the following winter, I won a bunch of prizes and I also got to meet a lot of cool people. The coolest by far was Mr. T.
I met Mr. T before the competition started at a mall in Orange County, California. I decided to drive out there to audition for the show and, once there, I discovered that the celebrity appearing that day was Mr. T. Before the competition, Mr. T signed autographs for people and once that was done, he got onstage and answered questions. Many of the questions were typical; "Will there be an A Team reunion? How did you beat cancer? What projects are you working on?" But I will always remember the question asked by a young man in the front row.
Why you won't see Mr. T in the A-Team movie
I Pity the Fool, the new reality series in which Mr. T helps out people in need with his no-nonsense wisdom, belief in God, and artful way of putting the words "jibba" and "jabba" together like no other human being can, debuts this evening on TV Land at 10 pm. If you miss it, don't fret, because according to my Tivo the episode will repeat about fifty billion times after that. Also, the premiere episode is still available to watch in full on Yahoo. TV Guide has a Q and A with the iconic tough guy where he talks about getting and subsequently beating cancer, and how he was offered a role in the still up in the air A-Team movie, but not the role of B.A. Baracus. He immediately turned down the non-role. Also, apparently George "Hannibal" Peppard wasn't a fan of Mr. T, and none to happy that Mr. T made more money than he did on the series. Oh, and he still watches The A-Team, at least when he's not listening to the Bible on tape. New TV on DVD releases today

WB and Sleuth add shows to iTunes
The TV Addict picked up on some cool news this morning. The WB has added a handful of shows to iTunes for your downloading pleasure, including classic cartoons like The Flintstones and The Jetsons, as well as live-action shows including Friends, Babylon 5, MadTV, and the unaired pilot of Aquaman. In addition, the Sleuth Channel has added Miami Vice, The A-Team, Dragnet, and Knight Rider. Last but not least, you can watch the entire first episode of Tabloid Wars for free, just in case you missed the premiere on Bravo last night. I think shows like Friends and MadTV are probably in heavy enough rotation in syndication, but it would be nice to see more "retro" shows and old cartoons pop up in the future.George Peppard approves of A-Team special?
Back in December Ryan told ya'll about Bring Back the
A-Team, a reunion special being created for the UK's Channel 4. Well, now the creators can forge ahead with gusto,
because George Preppard has given the show the "thumbs up" from beyond the grave (cue theremin).
Apparently a Hollywood medium named Madam Francesca said George was delighted with the idea. Of course, something tells
me they would have made this anyway had Peppard posthumously agreed to it or not. I also spoke to George Peppard
recently:
