Abagail Spencer
Angela's Eyes -- an early look
If you enjoy the concepts of The Closer, Missing, Psych and the recently canceled Alias, but can't find the time to watch them all at once, Lifetime Network might just have the show for you.
It's titled Angela's Eyes, and it offers a little bit from all of the shows mentioned above. Eyes stars Abigail Spencer (All my Children) as Angela Henson, who has a keen sense of observation. As a FBI agent, Angela uses her skills to tell if you (being the suspect, that is) are lying. She does this by watching the person's eyes, or listening to inflections in their voice. Sometimes, as is seen in the first episode, this can spill over into Angela's personal life as well.
While the show is mostly a crime procedural, with some female angst thrown in for the Lifetime audience, it is also an espionage show as well. You see, as it turns out, Angela's parents traded some classified secrets to foreign governments and are both in the slammer for their deeds. And, in a secondary plot, someone knows where they hid all of the missing documents.
Interested? Well, tune into Lifetime on July 16th (tomorrow night) at 10 p.m. to see what it's all about.
