Music's Superstars Highlight '2011 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show' (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted Nov 30th 2011 12:30AM
One of television's most unusual annual events returned as 'The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show' (Tue., 10PM ET on CBS) took over the airwaves with lots of underwear and wings. But Adriana Lima and the gang on the runway were joined by a bevy of superstar musicians as well, to make it more of a show for non-fashion fans.Okay, we get that the fact that supermodels wearing nothing but lingerie is enough to draw in a lot of non-fashion enthusiasts, but for those who need more, they got Kanye West and Jay-Z performing together, along with performances by Adam Levine -- who planted a kiss on his surprised girlfriend Anne Vyalitsina -- and Nicki Minaj.

Will Levine appear in the show? "Perhaps," said Levine. "I've not decided yet, Matt Lauer."
Maroon 5 'Moves Like Jagger' on 'America's Got Talent' Results Show (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted Aug 4th 2011 1:05AM
Adam Levine took his act straight from 'The Voice' stage and onto 'America's Got Talent' (Wed., 9PM ET on NBC) when he and Maroon 5 entertained the crowd with their new single 'Moves Like Jagger.' It was a rock-solid performance, and a great way to remind people of Levine and 'The Voice.'To keep the crowd excited on this tense elimination night, Jason Derulo gave the crowd a medley of his singles, but it was all just a distraction from the reality of the evening.
Of twelve acts, only four would move on to the semifinals.

So, will karaoke be 2012's big craze?
'Community' Is Hiring! Filling the Greendale Yearbook with More Awesome Human Beings
by AOL TV Staff, posted Jul 28th 2011 11:00AM
It's been a busy week for the casting directors of 'Community.' Greendale Community College is in hiring mode, and the faculty is freshly stocked with two new, sufficiently awesome (and yes, a little random) teachers: Michael K. Williams, coming on board to play a fresh-out-of-jail biology professor, and John Goodman, the new vice dean of the school of air conditioning repair. While neither actor seems quite perfect, tonally, for the offbeat, referential comedy, the choices may prove brilliant for that very same reason.
With that in mind, we got to thinking about some other slightly plausible, square-peg-in-round-hole teacher choices that might just be crazy enough to work.
Even if they don't take any of our casting advice, that faculty lunchroom is about to get even weirder, in the best way possible.
Javier Colon Says He Had No Confidence He Would Win 'The Voice' (VIDEO)
by Nick Zaino, posted Jul 1st 2011 6:00PM
Wednesday night, Javier Colon beat out favorite Dia Frampton to win the first season of 'The Voice.' Friday on 'Today' (weekdays, 7AM on NBC), Colon said he never thought it would happen. His doubts were understandable: the show had chronicled Colon's many missed chances in the music industry, and he talked with Matt Lauer about almost giving up music."It was getting to the point where I wasn't able to make a living, enough to raise my two beautiful girls and to support my wife," he said. "And I wasn't going to let that happen. So If I had to do something else, I was going to do something else."
'The Voice' Coaches Will All Return for Season 2, NBC Confirms
by Chris Harnick, posted Jun 30th 2011 5:00PM
NBC has announced that all four coaches will return for Season 2 of 'The Voice.'Yep, you can expect more tight shirts on Adam Levine, more denim on Blake Shelton, more sunglasses for Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera will be back -- no word on whether her leather diaper-esque shorts will return as well.
"Our fantastic coaches were integral to the tremendous success of 'The Voice' this year and we are thrilled that they are all returning," Paul Telegdy, executive vice president of alternative programming at NBC and Universal Media Studios, said in a statement. "We look forward to building season two and making 'The Voice' an even greater experience for fans."
'The Voice' Finale: Coach and Winner Interviews and What You Didn't See on TV

The winner has been crowned and the confetti has been swept away, but for fans of 'The Voice' who weren't fortunate enough to be in the crowd for the finale last night, allow AOL TV to lift the curtain for you.
Not only did we have a plum spot from which to admire the back of Adam Levine's head during the taping (and to admire all of the artists' off-screen antics), we later hit the red carpet to talk to the coaches and the winner as they reflected on a triumphant first season.

Adam Levine Says He'd be 'Delighted' to Return for Season 2 of 'The Voice'
by Catherine Lawson, posted Jun 30th 2011 8:35AM
The dust has barely had time to settle after 'The Voice' champion was crowned before thoughts inevitably start turning to Season 2 of NBC's breakout hit show. The celebrity coaches -- Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton -- were a huge hit with the TV audience and helped propel the show to massive ratings.
But, given their own music careers, and the fact that they're not joining the finalists out on the road on 'The Voice' tour, can they be persuaded to return next year?
Speaking after last night's finale, Levine told 'The Hollywood Reporter' "That's the question that everyone's asking me. I'd hate to say for sure, but I think so. If they'll have me, I'd be delighted to be back."
!!!SPOILER ALERT!!! If you haven't watched 'The Voice' finale yet, and don't want to know who won, don't keep reading after the jump.
'The Voice' Finale: Who is the Singing Competition's First Winner? (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted Jun 30th 2011 12:13AM
'American Idol' revolutionized the singing competition in America ten years ago, and its first winner, Kelly Clarkson, went on to worldwide success and fame. This summer, 'The Voice' (Wed., 8PM ET on NBC) has arguably reinvented the concept by putting the focus on ... the voice. Will its winner go on to comparable success?
With top caliber coaches in Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Christina Aguilera, the show was more about nurturing tomorrow's superstars than sitting distant and aloof in judgment of them. And after all was said and done it came down to 2 percent.

"I think the best time I ever had with him is when he took us to a show in Ohio and I was kind of watching him perform," she said. Vicci Martinez has had a good time just being around Cee Lo Green. "He's a riot," she said. "You never know what you're going to get from him."
'The Voice' Predictions: Who Will Be Eliminated From Team Cee Lo & Team Adam Tonight?
by Maggie Furlong, posted Jun 21st 2011 3:00PM
Tonight on 'The Voice,' we'll say goodbye to four more contestants, two from Team Cee Lo and two from Team Adam. But who will it be?
Their live performances last week showed off some strengths on each team, and a few weaknesses. Cee Lo Green's eclectic team -- Vicci Martinez, Nakia, Curtis Grimes and Tori and Taylor Thompson -- gave it their best and performed a funky rendition of 'Everyday People' with their wigged-out coach.

We also saw Adam Levine's team -- down to Jeff Jenkins, Javier Colon, Devon Barley and Casey Weston -- hold their own before coming together to perform 'With A Little Help From My Friends' with a little help from their Maroon 5 frontman coach.
I know who I think should be safe, but after some surprises last week, I'm still not sure how the eliminations will play out.

Kimmel Shows Adam Levine's Nude Cancer Awareness Picture (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted Jun 21st 2011 5:34AM
Adam Levine cares about issues that matter, so much so that he was willing to strip down naked to help promote cancer awareness. Only now he was forced to face the image he created for an uncomfortable amount of time on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (Weeknights, 12AM ET on ABC)."I look exactly like this with my clothes off," Jimmy Kimmel said, among other things as he kept a close-up on the image for several, several seconds.
"Can you not show that for that long?" Levine asked him. "It's really kind of disturbing." Levine went on to describe the image as "the reverse Janet Jackson."

Cee Lo Green Channels Sly Stone on 'The Voice' (VIDEO)
by Catherine Lawson, posted Jun 15th 2011 7:50AM
We've reached the Quarterfinals round on 'The Voice' (Tue., 10PM ET on NBC) so everyone's pulling out all the stops in their live performances. This week it was the turn of Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green to each take to their stage with their team for a group performance.
Maroon 5 frontman Levine chose the classic 'With a Little Help From My Friends,' which his team performed with the help of a high school gospel choir singing backup.
Team Cee Lo chose to stay in the '60s, and knocked it out of the park with an exuberant -- if possibly over-accessorized -- rendition of Sly and the Family Stone's 1968 hit, 'Everyday People.'
