by Jason Hughes, posted Nov 11th 2011 4:00AM
Adam Sandler, 'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart'Any chance of talking about 'Jack & Jill' went right out the door when Adam Sandler walked onto 'The Daily Show' (Weeknights, 11PM ET on Comedy Central) wearing a thick brown corduroy shirt. He explained that he was wearing it for his wife, who'd decided it was time he updated his look.

He went on to say that he'd hoped to stick around New York to catch the Jets game, but that his wife and kids told him that he could watch the game on television back in LA, so he was headed home instead. This led Jon Stewart to wonder when the last time was that Adam Sandler made a decision for himself.

According to Sandler, the sweet spot for independence is between 1AM and 6AM. That's when he's a wild man!

by Jason Hughes, posted Nov 10th 2011 4:00AM
Adam Sandler, 'Late Show with David Letterman'When you hear celebrities talking in detail about their experiences out in public with the paparazzi, it sounds like it must be one of the most annoying experiences in the world. Unfortunately, as Adam Sandler pointed out on 'Late Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on CBS), they have another guy recording video right next to them, so you can't even lose your cool while they're completely invading your life.

After a particularly relentless encounter when he was just trying to spend some time with his kids, his daughter presented a way that he could get the paparazzi to leave him alone. "Stop doing so many movies," she told him. And she's absolutely right, that would probably work pretty quick.

by Jason Hughes, posted Nov 2nd 2011 4:45AM
Adam Sandler, 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'You might not have expected to hear Adam Sandler's new movie 'Jack and Jill' being talked about in the same conversation as 'The Godfather,' but it happened not once, but twice, on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (Weeknights, 12AM ET on ABC).

First, Kimmel was marveling at how much screen-time Al Pacino had in the film. "I expected Al would be in the movie for like two minutes, but Al is in the whole movie," he said. "Al is in this movie more than he was in 'The Godfather.'"

Later, Sandler said that Pacino was excited to be working "with the great Adam Sandler." He then related a story about Pacino tearing up on the set, forcing them to stop filming. According to Sandler, Pacino said he was crying because "it hurts knowing Marlon [Brando] will never work with such greatness."

Watch Adam Sandler's Kids Interrupt His Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony (VIDEO)

Adam Sandler Gets Hollywood Walk of Fame StarAdam Sandler got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame last week. The comedy actor's films have grossed over $3 billion worldwide. But it was his two young daughters who stole this particular show, as revealed on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (weeknights, 12AM ET on ABC). The host shared footage of the ceremony.

As Sandler thanked his wife's family, his 4-year-old daughter Sadie (standing next to him at the podium) grabbed the mic and announced, "I love my daddy."

Sibling rivalry ensued as 2-year-old Sunny, being held in Sandler's arms, then stretched for the microphone and mumbled, "Uh mo-mmm daddy." Sandler chuckled and continued thanking relatives, only to have Sadie monopolize the sound system again and repeat, "I love my daddy."

According to Sandler, Sadie continued the act but threw in an "I love my mama" at the end. Though the audience took that as a shout-out to Sandler's wife Jackie, the actor joked that surely it was "a tribute to Bobby Boucher and 'The Waterboy.'"

Adam Sandler's Greatest 'Saturday Night Live' Hits

by Kim Potts, posted Feb 9th 2011 9:00AM
Adam SandlerSome viewers might have remembered him as one of Theo's high school pals on 'The Cosby Show,' from appearances on 'Showtime at the Apollo' and the MTV game show 'Remote Control' or even from his small part as a drug dealing teen in the 1990 'Afterschool Special' episode 'Testing Dirty.'

But for most fans, Adam Sandler officially entered the TV landscape 20 years ago -- on Feb. 9, 2011 -- when he made his debut as a featured player on 'Saturday Night Live.'

Letterman Asks Adam Sandler, 'What Is Wrong With You?' After a Lewd Joke (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Feb 9th 2011 4:47AM
Adam Sandler, 'Late Show with David Letterman'Adam Sandler took a perfectly nice conversation about visiting his mother in Florida on 'Late Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on CBS), and turned it into something crude and disgusting. It's not a surprise to fans of his particular brand of "immature" humor, but it seemed to catch David Letterman off guard.

Or at least Letterman was left with only one repeated response.

Letterman made a fairly benign statement regarding Sandler's mother's friends. "They all know what you do, right?"

Sandler responded with a joke that spiralled into a pretty odd place rather quickly. "My mother still thinks I'm a doctor," he quipped. "I never really told her. So every Thanksgiving her friends will come over and I'll give them pelvic exams."

Adam Sandler Talks Death on 'Tonight Show'Adam Sandler has something he wants to say to those who've been spreading Internet lies that he died (in Switzerland in a snowboarding accident). But for future reference, Sandler said, "If I do die, it'll be in America. And it won't be on a snowboard. It'll either be on a toilet or hanging from a belt, naked," he joked. Good to know.

Kevin Nealon Talks About Heidi Montag -- and Plastic SurgeryAlas, how the mighty have fallen! Where are the glories of the past? Kevin Nealon was once a star on 'Saturday Night Live.' And as for Heidi Montag -- well, no one ever liked Heidi Montag that much, but she at least used to appear on 'The Hills.' Now, the two of them have very small parts in an Adam Sandler movie. Oh well.

Mr. Nealon showed up on the new 'Lopez Tonight' (weeknights, 11PM ET on TBS). There, he discussed his role in the new film 'Just Go With It.' Ironically, Kevin plays a man who is obsessed with plastic surgery, but he's also playing the husband of Ms. Montag, who currently holds the title of "woman who has had the most unnecessary cosmetic surgery operations."

Could Jimmy Fallon Replace Larry King? No, But He Gives It a Shot (VIDEO)

by Oliver Miller, posted Aug 27th 2010 4:03AM
Could Jimmy Fallon Replace Larry King? No, But He Gives It a ShotWell, someone has to step in for Larry King eventually. Current almost-confirmed rumors name Piers Morgan as King's successor on CNN. But maybe his replacement could be Jimmy Fallon instead?

Fallon took a break from hosting 'Late Night' and appeared on 'Larry King Live' (weeknights, 9PM ET on CNN). While he was on the show, he demonstrated a pitch-perfect ability to imitate Mr. King, indicating -- to us, at least -- that he could fill Larry's shoes if necessary. Wearing Larry's trademark suspenders, he acted as the "replacement" host of the show, and showed an uncanny ability to switch between different voices in 0.5 seconds.

Adam Sandler Meets His Look-Alike on 'Daily Show' (VIDEO)

by Aimee Deeken, posted Jun 25th 2010 5:30AM
Adam Sandler Meets Look-Alike on 'Daily Show'Adam Sandler was born in Brooklyn, New York, and grew up in New Hampshire. But Jon Stewart's convinced he's got a doppelganger living in Connecticut. When Sandler and Chris Rock visited 'The Daily Show' (weeknights, 11PM ET on COM), the host asked the 'Grown Ups' actor and writer, "You ever been to Fairfield, Connecticut?"

Then he pointed to a member of the audience and invited the Sandler look-alike onto the stage.

Rock seemed skeptical of the resemblance, saying, "Yeah ... kinda." Check the video to make up your own mind. He's not his mirror image, but they could pass for siblings.

Adam Sandler Threatens to Leave 'Late Show' for 'Jimmy Fallon' (VIDEO)

by Chris Harnick, posted Jun 24th 2010 10:50AM
Adam SandlerAdam Sandler got pretty impatient with David Letterman on 'Late Show' (weeknights, 11:35PM on CBS). The comedian appeared from backstage to tell Letterman to hurry his introduction up because he wants to get out on stage.

"I'll go over to [Jimmy] Fallon if you want," Sandler said. "It's up to you, but I gotta get out there." Letterman warned Sandler not to leave because the set of 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon' doesn't have air conditioning.

It's hot and muggy in New York, so what does Sandler do? Stay, of course.

Everywhere around the world, they're coming to celebrate Chanukah

by Danny Gallagher, posted Dec 10th 2009 6:30PM
If I were Adam Sandler, I would be peeing my pants right now. I also wouldn't be wasting my day whining about primetime game shows and getting fat from sitting in front of my computer twelve hours a day. And I'm sure I'd have an official "pants guy" who could provide me with a pair of pee-stain-free pants at the push of an intercom button.

Holy music uber-god Neil Diamond has resurrected Sandler's famed "Chanukah Song," a song first made famous during his stint on Saturday Night Live, in a cover song for his new Christmas album A Cherry, Cherry Christmas. He also put together an animated video of the Chanukah carol that's not only hilarious, but marks the first and last time the world will see a collaboration involving Diamond, William Shatner and OJ Simpson, until, of course, the fourth Naked Gun movie gets a green light.
