Senior "Football" Correspondent John Oliver talked about the pointlessness of the win and the greater significance of the celebrations (and the resulting deaths). I'm very proud of the show for being able to do a football/soccer story without resorting to obvious "GOOOAL!" gags and containing the joke to just one little visual.
