Couples going to Las Vegas and impulsively tying the knot while drunk is a longstanding ritual for both celebrities and civilians.

Now that gay couples can get married, why shouldn't they be part of that tradition? That's the question that writer/performer Brad Bell and television writer/producer Jane Espenson ('Battlestar Galactica,' 'Game of Thrones,' 'Buffy') asked themselves when they were creating 'Husbands,' a web series that premieres Tuesday.

In the 11-episode comedy, Bell and Sean Hemeon play a performer and a newly out major-league baseball player who get married in Vegas, only to wake up with hangovers and the realization that they don't know each other well. Alessandra Torresani, who's best known for playing Zoe Graystone on 'Caprica,' plays their frequently inebriated friend, Haley.

On 'Caprica's' latest episode (Fri., 9PM ET on SyFy), Zoe (Alessandra Torresani) tried getting help to escape her dad's lab.

But -- having the body of a robot -- she only scared the lab tech in the process, even after some explanation. "I'm not really a robot, OK?" she pleaded. "I'm Zoe Graystone, and I'm trapped in here. My father put me in this body after I died. Help me! I need to escape!"

'Caprica' fans are preparing for plenty of drama and surprises in the last two episodes of the first half of season 1.

The first episode airs tonight at 9PM ET on Syfy, and in it, Daniel (Eric Stoltz) is convinced that Zoe's (Alessandra Torresani) avatar is hiding in the robot and conducts a series of dangerous tests to flush her out.

AOL TV caught up with Torresani and show creators Ronald D. Moore and David Eick on the red carpet of Tuesday night's Syfy Channel upfront presentation to get the scoop on where the rest of the season is going.

'Caprica' continues to deliver its own unique blend of intriguing sci-fi drama while also adding to the mythology of 'Battlestar Galactica'. So far, we've seen the "birth" of the first Cylon, explored Admiral Adama's Tauron roots, and discovered the origins of the Cylons' monotheistic leanings. But how far will 'Caprica' take us? What will the series' end game look like? Will it conclude with the first Cylon war? The eventual fall of the thirteen colonies?

In a recent video interview (embedded after the jump), series creator Ron Moore said that the end point of the series isn't clear yet. The writers still haven't decided how far they want to take the story. Moore did promise that we'd see Zoe's avatar "progress." He also revealed that we might eventually see her "in the flesh as it were, in the real world."

(S01E03) Now begins the reign of mistrust. With the characters generally established, as well as their relationships to one another, it's time for the show to start sowing the seeds of conflict, and they get right down to it. The first thing they do is establish the Adams Adamas as even more brutish than I anticipated. The hats, coats and the whole 1950s gangster look should have been a tip-off, it appears.

Add to that the difficulties the Graystone's are dealing with now that Amanda has blurted out to all the twelve colonies that their daughter Zoe was a terrorist, and responsible for the train bombing that killed her, her boyfriend Ben and Joseph Adama's wife and daughter, among many other people. The unfair thing to Zoe is that while we know better, how can anything different be proven?

Yesterday, the cast and producers of the Battlestar Galactica prequel Caprica took to the Langham Huntington stage for their panel discussion. If it feels like Caprica has been around forever, it sort of has; the pilot has been available for viewing since at least the early fall. But the series is finally premiering on Syfy on January 22,. and I'm sure everyone's charged up to see it.

The most interesting part of the panel, at least as far as I wad concerned, was when executive producer David Eick explained how they were going to establish that the character of Zoey, played by Alessandra Torresani, is a Cylon whose body is inhabited by the dead girl's essence or soul or whatever you want to call it.

Apparently, some of her scenes will be shot twice, usually when she enters them. First you'll see her in robotic form. Then, when they come back to her, she'll look like Torresani. The former scenes will involve CGI and actors talking to tennis balls, yadda yadda, but Eick felt it was the way to go in order to keep that connection intact with the viewers.
