Ugly Betty will be better in New York says exec producer
by Allison Waldman, posted May 19th 2008 9:22AM
Now that we know that Ugly Betty is coming back next season (it was never in doubt) and that the Ugly Betty production is moving to New York, executive producer Silvio Horta has shared a few more bits of news and tidbits about Betty and company. For starters, the producers are determined to streamline the show, taking advantage of being in NYC and sharpening the focus of the show. Horta said the goal for the Ugly Betty writing team for season three is "to make the show more about Betty's journey and to weave the characters into more unified, emotionally grounded plots."

Martha finale a sham? - BREAKING NEWS
by Bob Sassone, posted Dec 23rd 2005 10:08AM
The New York Post is reporting today that the actual winner of The
Apprentice: Martha Stewart was Bethenny and not Dawna. They changed the winner at the last minute, as Charles
Koppelman's 6 year-old granddaugther told all of the cast members backstage that Martha was going to choose Bethenny,
because Martha didn't like Dawna's fashion show. The judges decided to change the winner of the show because of the
granddaughter's announcement. This sort of makes you wonder how real the entire process was. I mean, was Dawna the best
candidate or not?
This is not a good thing.
