Correspondent Calls Maggie Rodriguez the Wrong Name (VIDEO)
by Donald Deane, posted May 13th 2010 12:30PM
While leading up to an interview segment with Cate Blanchett, correspondent Amanda Holden mistakenly refers to Maggie Rodriguez as "Marion," sparking a conversation between the two on the joys of early morning drinking on 'The Early Show' (weekdays, 7AM ET on CBS).Susan Boyle's Britain's Got Talent appearance most watched thing on YouTube in '09

This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone who doesn't live in a cave or still have dial-up Internet... or both. Although given the economy these days, I'm sure I can forgive people who still live in caves. Susan Boyle's breakthrough performance on Britain's Got Talent garnered the most eyeballs on YouTube in 2009 with a whopping 120 million views.
Sorry, dog that's stuck in a toilet as cruel owner films you. Maybe next year.
Finally, a Simon Cowell vote we can all (cough) get behind

American Idol and Britain's Got Talent judge Simon Cowell might have shown some unfair misgivings about Susan Boyle before she proved her musical worth to the universe, but here's a preconception that even Paula Abdul would support.
Mr. Methane, a familiar guest to fans of The Howard Stern Show, is the world's only (thank Holy Christ) performing flatulist and he took a turn at the mic on Britain's Got Talent. Anyone want to guess if he made it through to the final round? If you guessed wrong, please get out of the gene pool and take a shower immediately.

Is Susan Boyle done already?
by Allison Waldman, posted Apr 18th 2009 2:29PM
Well, Andy Warhol said everyone gets 15 minutes of fame, but has Susan Boyle's quarter-hour already expired? That's the opinion of New York columnist Michael Musto, but I think his Rolex knock-off is running fast. Musto thinks Boyle is done, but, you watch, Susan will be around for at least another week or two. She was on Larry King Live on Friday. There's rumors that she's going to appear on Oprah, and I wouldn't put it past American Idol and Simon Cowell to spring her on us, giving 20 million Americans a chance to be amazed by her sweet voice and reviled by her hairy eyebrows.
