Donald Trump wanted $2 million per episode for next season's The Apprentice, but, uh, no. NBC turned his "offer" down—while Trump was giving a lecture on effectively "marketing [your] wares."- Wisteria Lane won't be seeing the Mary Kay pink cadillac anytime soon, because Christian groups protested the firm's plan to push it's products on the ABC series Desperate Housewives. Apparently, for Mary Kay, it's "God first...career third," so I don't see how they expected the Housewives gig to work, anyway.
- Mmm...Beer... Anheuser Busch gets Blues Traveler to sing for it's Busch beer commercials, which "focuses on the great outdoors" and will show up during NASCAR races and professional bass fishing tournaments on TV.
- We love our DVR! And everyone knows it. "[T]he number of households subscribing to a DVR service is up 155% from May, 2004." Holy smokes, that's what, an extra 300,000 hours of recording time?
