Pity the poor schedulers over at Fox. Not only have they had to bench 'New Girl' to accommodate an extended 'X Factor,' but now they've had to move 'X Factor' because of the weather and sports.

Last night's planned two-hour episode did not air because of a rain delay during Game 4 of the American League Championship Series between the Detroit Tigers and the Texas Rangers.

Instead, viewers on the East Coast got to see the game, while West Coast viewers were treated to a rerun of an episode from last week.

• At 7, ABC has the Bank of America 500 NASCAR race.
• At 8, FOX has the Indians/Red Sox game.
• Food Network has a new Emeril Live at 8, followed by a new Dinner: Impossible.
• Disney has the movie Twitches Too at 8.
• At 9, Sci-Fi has the new movie Wraiths of Roanoke.
• Cartoon Network has a new Naruto at 9, then a new Bobobo-bo Bo-Bobo.
• IFC has Ripley's Game at 9.
• Also at 9: BBC America has a new Torchwood, followed by a new Graham Norton Show, with guests Ioan Gruffudd and Jessie Wallace.
• At 10, CBS has a new 48 Hours Mystery.
• There's a new Trading Spaces on TLC at 10.
• At 11:30, NBC has a new Saturday Night Live, with guests Jon Bon Jovi and Foo Fighters.

It's been a bit over a week since we started the TV Squad cancellation trifecta game, and a near-miss today calls for an update.

As reported in today's Cynopsis, Nashville has been taken out of its Friday night slot for the next two weeks, making room for repeats of K-Ville. However, this is not a cancellation -- yet! Word is that this is due to the baseball season, with the show returning when baseball concludes.
