If 'Glee' has you yearning for more song-and-dance routines on TV, hold onto your (top) hats! From April 29 to May 5, Fox is turning several of its shows into musicals, including 'Bones,' 'House,' 'The Simpsons,' even 'Fringe.' On May 2, 'Family Guy' will celebrate its 150th episode with an extended episode featuring new and familiar musical numbers. Suffice to say the shows should be a blast, for both us and the actors.

Of course, TV aficionados know this is nothing new. Shows like 'Ally McBeal,' 'Eli Stone,' and 'SpongeBob SquarePants' have featured musical numbers regularly, and I'd be remiss if I didn't mention 'Viva Laughlin' and 'Cop Rock' (even though the latter was declared by TV Guide to be one of the worst shows ever, ouch!). In fact, we can trace the trend back to classic episodes like Bugs Bunny's 'The Rabbit of Seville' and 'What's Opera, Doc?'

If anyone was getting nervous that Neil Patrick Harris's new gig hosting the game show 'The Cube' might mean his interest in 'How I Met Your Mother' was waning, worry no more. On Tuesday, Harris Tweeted the answer to a question no one has asked yet, that he is staying put on 'HIMYM.'

Harris's (subtly scatological) message, referring to 'HIYMYM' and 'The Cube,' both of which are CBS projects: "I'm never leaving HIMYM. That job rocks. This would just have me doing double duty on the Tiffany Network. (Huh, huh. I said double duty...)"

Smallville's Clark Kent isn't the only one getting a visit from DC Comics' Justice Society in 2010. A month before the classic crime fighters show up for Smallville's "Absolute Justice" event, airing Feb. 5, they'll drop by the Batcave for an episode of Batman: The Brave and the Bold.

An animated version of the 1940s superhero team will make its debut January 15 on Cartoon Network's great and goofy Batman show. We'll get to see how The Flash (the original one with the silly hat), Hourman, Hawkman, Dr. Mid-Nite and Wildcat influenced Batman's bad guy-beating skills. We'll also see them in action against a villain named Per Degaton. The ep, titled "The Golden Age of Justice," will also feature Bats teaming up with Green Arrow's main squeeze, Black Canary.

For anyone who suspects Neil Patrick Harris might be hell-bent on global entertainment domination, here's the proof -- NPH recently faced off against the Caped Crusader as the singing supervillain Music Meister on 'Batman: The Brave and the Bold.'

The soundtrack to the musical episode will soon be available for purchase on iTunes and Amazon, but, for those who can't wait to give a listen, AOL Music has it available now in its entirety at the full CD listening party.

Holy NPH, Batman! It's going to be a legen -- wait for it -- dary battle tonight when Batman: The Brave and the Bold gets musical (7:30PM ET, Cartoon Network) in an episode that pits the Caped Crusader vs. ... Neil Patrick Harris?!

NPH plays Music Meister, a Gotham City foe who cleverly manipulates others to do his evil bidding with snappy songs. Batman, Black Canary, Aquaman and Green Arrow team up to thwart MM, who commandeers a satellite to spread his malevolent plans far and wide, in an episode entitled 'Mayhem of the Music Meister!'

I'm sure some of you would like to forget about the campy '60s Batman TV show starring Adam West and Burt Ward as corny comic book crime fighters. Me? I love it.

I grew up watching reruns of the show, and its goofy blend of cartoon-y action, aw-shucks charm and over-the-top acting still makes me smile. Cartoon Network's great Batman: The Brave and the Bold is heavily influenced by the '60s series, and some episodes even feature unabashed references to the old show.

I wrote about my love for Cartoon Network's Batman: The Brave and the Bold last November. To reiterate: This is a show that all Batfans should be watching. It's goofy and fun, and it mines the DC Comics mythology to deliver some great stories featuring ol' Bats teaming up and trading barbs with the likes of Plastic Man, Green Arrow and more. I recommend DVR-ing the show and watching it late on Friday nights. It might cheer you up after Battlestar Galactica.

Now here's another reason to watch: Former Squadder and Enterprise ensign turned Interweb Superman Wil Wheaton will guest star in the next episode, "Fall of the Blue Beetle," which airs this Friday, Jan 23. Wheaton plays Ted Kord aka the Silver Age Blue Beetle.

Talking apes! Alien leeches! Laser-shooting blob people! You'll never catch The Dark Knight rubbing elbows with such kooky company on the big screen. To see that, you'll have to tune into Batman: The Brave and the Bold, the new animated series on Cartoon Network.

Two episodes in and I'm loving this lighter, zanier take on ol' Bats' crime fighting adventures. It reminds me a lot of ABC Family's The Middleman, which itself was somewhat inspired by the campy 60s Batman TV Show.

Unlike Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight and the darker Batman cartoons we've seen before, which I also love, Brave and The Bold takes place in that colorful comic book world where anything (did I mention the talking apes?) can happen. There's no Commissioner Gordon, no Gotham City and no Robin (not yet, anyway). Instead, Batman is paired up with a new DC hero every week, and he does his thing in bizarre locales like "Dinosaur Island" or outer space.

Is Maher worried that he's losing his favorite punchline in lame duck President George Bush? Perhaps.

We have been spoiled, first with Bill Clinton and then George Bush," Maher joked to Larry King after Barack Obama's election win. "And here's a president now who, he's not stupid. He's not angry. He's not a phony. He's not fat. He's not cheating on his wife. Who needs a jerk like that around for the next four years?"

Maher, no doubt, will find new targets for his jabs when he returns for season seven, including the president-elect. "Look, he's going to be the president and we're going to have to get over our nervousness about making fun of a black person. He's not a black person. He's the president."
