Ben Gets Some Love on 'Lost' (VIDEO)

by Jane Boursaw, posted Mar 10th 2010 1:08AM
Lost, Ben LinusOh, Ben. You're just a misunderstood puppy, aren't you? You watched your daughter die, and you've had to live with the choice you made – the island over saving her. It was all about Jacob for you, wasn't it, and where did it get you?

But don't worry, puppy, you're not alone. There are people who will have you, bug-eyes and all, and not just Locke either. Hang in there. It'll all make sense eventually, hopefully by the season finale of 'Lost' (Tue., 9PM ET on ABC).

Watch the video after the jump.

Michael Emerson: The TV Squad Interview

by Kona Gallagher, posted May 13th 2009 11:03AM

As the creeptastic Ben Linus on Lost, Michael Emerson has been the puppet master on the island. He spends his days murdering people, causing others to murder different people, playing mind games and just generally making life more difficult for the survivors of Oceanic flight 815 and everyone else whom he encounters.

Ever since he was going by the name, "Henry Gale," Ben has been a fan favorite on the series. Recently, I was able to grab a few minutes of his time to chat about this week's season finale of Lost and the evolution of Benjamin Linus. He even gives me some parenting advice!

The interview follows after the jump, and as we do discuss this week's finale, I should probably give you a spoiler warning right now. However, since it's Lost, he's not able to give too much away. FACT: The smoke monster is real, and is deployed against any actor who dares to speak too freely about the show-- so I got what I could.

'Lost' Interview With Michael Emerson

by Maggie Furlong, posted Feb 11th 2009 7:00AM
"This business of things being unhinged in time and space ... that's ... that's ongoing on some level. Hmmm ... we're kind of talking about things we shouldn't be talking about. [Laughs]"

He might play one of the creepiest characters on television, but in real life, Michael Emerson is thoughtful, affable and endearingly intrigued with Ben Linus, his sinister 'Lost' alter ego.

And he's not alone: Ben is one of the most talked about, love-to-hate-him TV villains of all time, and his latest plot to get the Oceanic 6 back to the island from which they fled is revealing more of his devilish, multi-layered mind game each week.

Emerson talked to AOL TV exclusively about getting the island back on track, watching the show on TV to fully grasp where it's headed, who he enjoys acting alongside and why a scene involving cereal sticks out in his mind as a favorite. -- By Maggie Furlong

Lost: Twelve classic Ben Linus moments

by Erin Martell, posted Apr 30th 2008 12:01PM

Michael EmersonMichael Emerson owns season four of Lost. Many of the season's best scenes have featured Ben Linus. From screwing with Locke to obsessing over Juliet, Ben has become one of the show's standout characters. Emerson took the complex role to an entirely new level in last week's episode, "The Shape of Things to Come." I'll be shocked (and furious) if he doesn't get an Emmy nomination this year.

Let's take a look at some of Ben's most unforgettable moments using the mastermind's own words. If we're lucky, Ben will give us a few more to add to the list by the season's end. Spoiler alert: If you're not caught up with Lost, stop reading now.
