Last weekend was Wizard World Comic Con's sophomore effort in Toronto, and there was a definite increase in attendance this time around (compared to last year). Though attendees were sparse on Friday evening, by Saturday the turnout was much more respectable, thanks to high profile guests like 'Dexter' and 'No Ordinary Family's Julie Benz, 'Kids in the Hall's Scott Thompson and Lando Calrissian himself -- Billy Dee Williams.

After all, where else could you hear Williams get his "William Shatner on" as he recited spoken-word poetry to a smooth jazz accompaniment in an exclusive live performance? Or hear Julie Benz reveal that 'Desperate Housewives' co-star Dana Delany was the best kisser she's worked with, topping David Boreanaz, Michael C. Hall and Michael Chiklis? Or maybe you would have liked to shout 'Penis!' in order to get an autographed photo of Scott Thompson. Or you could watch Chewbacca and Boba Fett argue over which ship is faster -- Slave I or The Millennium Falcon. (For the record, the Falcon won out.)

All that and more happened at Wizard World this year and luckily for you, we were there to report back all the geek-tastic highlights.

Diana Ross and Billy Dee Williams were a popular tandem in theaters with the hits 'Mahogany' (1975) and 'Lady Sings the Blues' (1972). Three decades since audiences saw last them together, Oprah Winfrey put them together again today on 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' (weekdays, syndicated).

Winfrey already had Ross on the show and, she said, in the spirit of Winfrey's final-season reunions, she brought Williams out onstage. The three exchanged warm embraces once Williams entered.

This isn't the first time that 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (weeknights at 12:35AM ET on ABC) has done a commercial parody featuring a series of ommemorative plates, but every time they do the parody it's funny.

Last night Billy Dee Williams introduced the Mel Gibson series of plates. Each plate comes engraved with one of Gibson's rants from the recorded phone calls with his ex-girlfriend Oksana. You even get a lip phone!

I wonder how many people will call that 800 number.

Jimmy Kimmel does one of my favorite monologues in late night. He includes a lot of pop culture and videos so it's like getting a funny wrap-up of what's happening in pop culture before you go to bed. Here's the whole monologue last night, where he talked about everything from Tiger Woods' mistresses to Chia Pets.

Seems like if a celebrity has been on TV this week, he or she had something to say to Tiger Woods. From the ladies of 'The View' weighing in on Tiger's type and their thoughts on the scandal to 50 Cent's acceptance on the situation, there has been no lack of talk show talk on his many alleged affairs.

If you didn't hear the tragic news that was announced last week, here it is: Miley Cyrus has quit Twitter.

But don't be too sad. In this video from Jimmy Kimmel Live, another celebrity introduces the Franklin Mint's Miley Cyrus Commemorative Tweet Plates, a series of collectible plates that have Miley's tweets engraved in them for posterity. The sad thing is that I'm sure that there are fans who would buy these if they really existed.

There was no surprise when SoapNet announced that it would be broadcasting another season of the late night spinoff of General Hospital Night Shift. The premiere season was a ratings blockbuster for the cable channel, a big hit with fans and well-received by the critics.

What was surprising was news that a new head writer, Sri Rao, would be taking over from Bob Guza, Jr., and that two major players from GH's history -- Tristan Rogers and Antonio Sabato, Jr. -- would be starring in this go-round.

I enjoyed Night Shift, year one, so I was inclined to check it out. I'm thrilled to report that after three episodes, I'm loving Night Shift 2008! Here's five reasons why:

Now that I've pointed out some of the disappointments of Season Three, it's time to give the show its due praise. This season, Lost returned to its Season One glory, and it was a joy to experience. Loyal fans were rewarded with serious answers, killer performances, and one of the biggest game-changers ever. Let's get to it!

Answers, Answers, Answers: If there was one thing I couldn't complain about in my Lost letdowns post, it was a lack of answers. We got plenty of answers to questions that were raised in all three seasons of the show. We learned how Locke ended up in his wheelchair, one of the most intriguing questions of Season One (certainly more so than the origin of Jack's tattoos). Fans' theories about Claire's real father were confirmed. A piece of the DHARMA Initiative's history was revealed, and we even got a look at Jacob. As if that wasn't enough, we learned the identity of the original Sawyer--and so did James "Sawyer" Ford. Thank you, Lost writers!!
