Stephen Colbert Upset About People's 'Sexiest Man Alive' Selection (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted Nov 18th 2011 4:00AM
Stephen Colbert wasn't even the most upset that he wasn't listed in 'People' magazine's latest 'Sexiest Man Alive' issue on 'The Colbert Report' (Weeknights, 11:30PM ET on Comedy Central). No, he just didn't understand their need to declare Bradley Cooper the sexiest man alive, when past winner Matthew McConaughey is still hanging around. In fact, he jumped all the way back to when Nick Nolte was declared 'Sexiest Man Alive' and showed a picture of him from today still looking ... uh ... well, that wasn't a very good example. But the point remains that Colbert says this is a title you should hold until you die. Especially if they ever honor him with that title, and we mean more than just a quick nod on the website.
'Sexiest Man Alive 2011': Which TV Stars Made the Cut?
by Catherine Lawson, posted Nov 17th 2011 6:05AM
Bradley Cooper's been celebrating being named as 'People' magazine's 'Sexiest Man Alive 2011.' After saying his first thought on hearing the news was, "My mother is going to be so happy," the buff 'Hangover' star joked "I'm waiting for Dax Shepard to come out, and that it's an episode of 'Punk'd.'"Cooper added: "I think it's really cool that a guy who doesn't look like a model can have this. ... I think I'm a decent-looking guy. Sometimes I can look great, and other times I look horrifying."
So which TV stars have been deemed hot enough to join Cooper on the list? Well, there are some conventional hotties like 'Luther' star Idris Elba, 'Community's Joel McHale and 'Game of Thrones' glowering Horse Lord Jason Momoa, but there are also a few guys who are, well, perhaps less obviously hot in the conventional sense.
Justin Bartha Had an Awkward Experience With Matthew McConaughey (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted May 25th 2011 4:45AM
A lot of times actors will do prep work for an upcoming film role. Sometimes it can be pretty intense, but for Justin Bartha and Bradley Cooper, prepping for 'Failure to Launch' looked like it was going to be just a whole lot of fun, according to Bartha on 'Chelsea Lately' (Weeknights, 11PM ET on E!). After all, they simply needed to hang out with Matthew McConaughey to develop a sense of friendship.Who wouldn't want to hang out with Matthew McConaughey? The guy oozes laid back and cool from his pores. As expected, he was shirtless when they arrived, so things were off to a good start. In fact, he was wearing only a pair of "little sweat shorts," as Bartha described them.
The problem was that he wasn't wearing anything under the shorts, and Bartha wound up sitting opposite him during their hang session. "So it's like the whole time I'm just staring at McConaugh-nuts," he explained. As such, Bartha was understandably kind of quiet and clearly not nearly as comfortable as McConaughey.
Justin Timberlake and Lady Gaga Shine in the 'Saturday Night Live' Season Finale
by Joel Keller, posted May 22nd 2011 12:00PM
Last night, 'Saturday Night Live' aired its 36th season finale, and the writers and producers saved one of the best episodes of the season for last.
The presence of perennial favorite host Justin Timberlake gave the writers license to bring back characters that are very familiar to regular 'SNL' watchers. It's the ultimate sign that Timberlake is quickly becoming this generation's version of 'SNL' hosting stalwarts Tom Hanks, Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin.
But added to the mix was the presence of Lady Gaga, who not only performed two songs, but did a fine job in a number of sketches, as well. Do we have a new recurring host in the making?
After the jump, we'll give you a selection of videos from last night's finale. In the comments, give us your thoughts on how JT and Gaga did on the show.

Bradley Cooper Creeps Out Stephen Merchant, Hits on Jo Brand on 'Graham Norton' (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted Mar 20th 2011 11:19PM
Bradley Cooper was having more fun on 'The Graham Norton Show' (Sat., 10PM ET on BBC America) than most talk show guests have anywhere. He was on with comedienne Jo Brand and Stephen Merchant.First, he took over the interview when Merchant revealed he was setting off on his first solo comedy tour. "Are you headed to the States?" Cooper asked.
"Just one gig in New York," Merchant replied, only to get a very emphatic, "When," from Cooper.
"That was a bit creepy," Graham Norton told Cooper.
Bradley Cooper Breaks Out Impressions of Robert DeNiro and Owen Wilson on 'Late Show' (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted Mar 16th 2011 2:53AM
Be careful how you act around Bradley Cooper, or he might start doing an impression of you. He admitted that he starts acting like some of the famous people he's worked with on 'Late Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on CBS).According to Cooper, he got four movies after 'Wedding Crashers' just by acting like Vince Vaughn. He then treated David Letterman's audience to his impression of Owen Wilson, which we thought came off much better than his earlier attempt at Robert DeNiro.
With a second 'Hangover' on the way, we can't wait until he starts talking like Zach Galifianakis and Ken Jeong. Or better yet, see how many movies you can get when you start mimicking Mike Tyson.

by Aimee Deeken, posted Feb 16th 2011 3:45AM
Last October, it was announced that Liam Neeson would replace Mel Gibson in 'The Hangover 2.' How'd he get the gig? The award-winning actor exchanged a few texts with 'Hangover' star (and his 'A-Team' costar) Bradley Cooper.Cooper sent him a simple "Do you wanta be in Hangover 2?" text message while Neeson was drinking a glass of wine. "I was like, [he motions taking a sip and then texting] 'Yeah,'" he said on 'The Tonight Show' (weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC). Cooper texted back, "Tomorrow?" Neeson took another sip and replied simply, "Yeah." Ah, modern technology. Neeson also confirmed that he will be "covered in tattoos" in the film.

Boys will be boys.On Monday night's edition of 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon' (weeknights, 12:35AM ET on NBC), Fallon and guest Bradley Cooper face off in an NBC elevator. First Cooper crowds Fallon face-to-face, saying the elevator is "so crowded" even though there's just the two of them. Hey, how long is this ride"? Cooper asks. "The elevator is probably about 30 seconds, 40 seconds" Fallon responds. "You want to wrestle?" Cooper asks."Let's do this" comes the reply.
Bradley Cooper Talks Working with Robert De Niro (VIDEO)
by Aimee Deeken, posted Jun 11th 2010 7:56AM
We've seen a lot of Bradley Cooper lately, as he promotes 'The A-Team.' But on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (weeknights, 12:05AM ET on ABC), the host wanted to hear about the actor's work with Robert De Niro on 'The Dark Fields.'"I just finished a movie, yeah, with the big man ... I call him Bob -- it's crazy," said Cooper. For one scene, Cooper told De Niro to "just really lay into me so I'll really feel it ... Say I'm a fake and all this stuff."
The camera started rolling, and De Niro obliged, churning out a lengthy, withering critique.
Cooper's reaction? He missed his cue to walk into the camera frame. "It was so real, I was just destroyed."

by Jane Boursaw, posted Mar 11th 2010 12:48AM
Bradley Cooper sat down to talk with Chelsea Handler on 'Chelsea's Big Interview Special' (Wed., 10PM ET on E!) , and the conversation naturally turned to penises. Specifically, Ken Jeong's penis on Cooper's neck in 'The Hangover.'"Ken Jeong's penis on my neck was ... very normal," said Cooper. "Ken came up with that idea that day ... and I didn't realize it, but the part I play in that scenario, I get like, neck herpes from it."
You'd either have to be really good friends to pull this off, or never want to speak to or see each other ever again. The jury's still out on which category these guys fall into.

Emily Blunt Gets Hairy and Bradley Cooper Gets Dumped on 'Ellen' (VIDEO)
by Harley W. Lond, posted Feb 9th 2010 8:56PM
Emily Blunt was on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' (weekdays, syndicated) plugging her latest film, 'The Wolfman,' and she talked about the inane questions she gets while at press outings -- particularly European press tours. "They all ask the same thing because their English is a bit limited," she told DeGeneres. "What's the question everyone asks you?" DeGeneres asked. "Do you find the hairy men sexy" Blunt replied in her best "French" accent. Later, DeGeneres asked Blunt, "Aren't you scared of the wolfman? You're not attracted to the wolfman, are you?" "I'm attracted to the man and not the beast," she said. Then DeGeneres asked the question on everyone's mind: Is (Blunt's husband to be) John Krasinski hairy? But Emily was discreet on that one -- she tells no tales.
Bradley Cooper -- a really nice guy -- talked about the pain of getting dumped -- before he was a big star.
"I was in Peru one time ... I used to host this trek show ... I apologize to the very nice woman who dumped me ... if she sees this she'll be upset." "I'm sure she'll see it," DeGeneres said. "I'm sure she's sorry she dumped you now." Cooper then went on to describe how he wanted to take a breather in their relationship, but when he got to Peru he realized "she's the one." But on a long-distance call to tell her his feelings, she dumped him.

Right now on Cinematical
by Kona Gallagher, posted Jan 23rd 2010 11:00AM
The folks at our sister site Cinematical are working hard to give you news and reviews of the best -- and worst -- the silver screen has to offer. Here are some of their musings on the latest blockbusters, indies, and everything in between:- This is pretty exciting: Cinematical gets to interview Harrison Ford about his new role in Extraordinary Measures.
- I kind of feel as though Tooth Fairy is the kind of movie that you already know whether or not you're interested in regardless of what the reviews say. Either you're into the idea as The Rock with wings, or you're not. You know?
- Well this sounds interesting: "a science-fiction/fantasy historical fiction family adventure based on the Caldecott award-winning children's book, The Invention of Hugo Cabaret." Here's the kicker: it's going to be directed by Martin Scorsese.
- Here's the review to go with the interview about Extraordinary Measures.
- Who would you rather see star alongside Cameron Diaz in the upcoming film, Bad Teacher? Bradley Cooper or Jason Segel?

As a tribute to Banks -- who by now should have her own show based on past performances on other programs-- we count down six other high-profile cameo kings and queens of network television that should have shows of their own.
