Let's face it: No matter how much we've laughed, cried and drank along with the Walker clan, 'Brothers & Sisters' isn't long for this TV world.

Balthazar Getty is the Latest Star to Leave 'Brothers & Sisters'

Rob Lowe has moved on to funnier pastures, Emily VanCamp will only return to wrap up her character's storyline, and now there's one more high-profile departure from 'Brothers & Sisters.' Balthazar Getty has become the latest cast member to leave the show.EW.com reports that Getty will not return to the series because of a "creative decision," and that his character (Tommy Walker) will be MIA beginning with the show's fifth season premiere on Sept. 26.

For four years, the Walker family of 'Brothers & Sisters' has endured numerous trials and tribulations: The unexpected death of father William, affairs, drug addiction, divorce and jarring family secrets. Now, as the show preps for its fifth season, there may be one additional trial they'll go through: the end of their series.Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello reports that rumors are growing that the next season will be the last for this ABC drama. A few factors are fueling this speculation. First, the episode order was reduced from the standard 22 to just 18. Second, two of the show's major players -- Rob Lowe and Emily VanCamp -- will not be returning.
